The logic that nothing, but chance, is scientific is a flawed one. It is a logical dead-end. If brand-new civilizations were discovered in outer space, would the logic of Darwinism and chance be employed in all of them? Would it be claimed that chance established civilizations everywhere? The portrayal of this miserable logic as scientific is the shame and disgrace of the current century.

This program discussed a number of living species which are about to become extinct and dealt with the efforts to protect their lives in the wild. One part of the documentary showed a care centre which takes in pumas trapped and mistreated by human beings. One researcher working in the centre made a number of comments concerning the way that pumas rehabilitated and returned to the wild could affect the puma population already in the wild from the genetic point of view. The researcher set out the care that needs to be taken in this matter, since pumas which have suffered mutations could have a negative effect on the genetic make-up of populations in the wild. What was said was of course accurate from a genetic point of view. However, in speaking of a mutual genetic effect among pumas the researcher revealed a Darwinist error regarding the origin of species, and basically maintained that "mother nature creates species over thousands of years."

This claim has no more significance than adding yet another to the list of the "mother nature" stories one frequently encounters on National Geographic TV. The error is obvious. As we know, materialist (or naturalist) philosophy maintains that all life is the work of nature itself. This philosophy, which constitutes the foundation of the theory of evolution, is a totally illogical superstition. Concepts such as "mother nature" or clichéd statements such as "nature gave mankind this ability, it made woman how she is,"etc. have no consistent logical or scientific validity.

It is clear that in the absence of conscious design the structures which can emerge through nature"s own powers are limited. It may be said that certain geological features were formed by such natural phenomena as wind or rain. The fairy chimneys in Cappadocia in Turkey, for instance, are the work of volcanic activity and rivers. Yet it is clear that the design in living things is incomparably more complex than such physical features as fairy chimneys, and that nature has no power to create living things.

When one looks closely at the design in living things, the most distinctive feature to catch the eye is "complexity." Different tissues produce organs, organs produce systems, and systems give rise to living things. All scientists accept that the design in a single cell, the smallest component of this entire design, is more complex than the most advanced devices so far produced by man. There is no way of accounting in terms of natural phenomena based on chance for cells with such a complex structure coming together within a far more complex organizational system to produce millions of living species.

In the face of this design the logical thing to do is to accept that it has a designer. If we are referring to a building, then nobody can deny the existence of an architect, or of an engineer if we refer to a car. Nobody can claim that the building or car emerged through natural processes. There is no doubt that in the same way that these designs have a designer, so do the designs in the far more complex structures in living things.

This fact has been confirmed by modern science. The invalidity of the theory of evolution, employed as a so-called scientific basis for the denial of the truth that living things are designed, the fact that life cannot begin by chance, and the absence of any mechanism in nature to cause living things to evolve have all been revealed, and the origin of living things has been shown to be intelligent design, in other words, creation.

In short, in telling tall tales concerning mother nature, National Geographic TV is supporting not a claim with any logical or scientific truth to it, but rather the unrealistic theses of the naturalist philosophy in which it believes so blindly. We advise National Geographic TV to abandon its naturalist misconceptions and accept the truth that God is the Creator of all living things.

The way that all of Europe has become acquainted with Atlas of Creation and the declaration of the fact that living creatures have remained unchanged for millions of years and that evolution is devoid of any scientific worth have led to a major change of belief among the people of Europe. Independent polls conducted by well-known publishing institutions in different European countries have revealed a major drop in the numbers of people believing in Darwinism and that belief in Allah now dominates Europe. >>

In order to create, God has no need to design

It's important that the word "design" be properly understood. That God has created a flawless design does not mean that He first made a plan and then followed it. God, the Lord of the Earth and the heavens, needs no "designs" in order to create. God is exalted above all such deficiencies. His planning and creation take place at the same instant.
Whenever God wills a thing to come about, it is enough for Him just to say, "Be!"
As verses of the Qur'an tell us:
His command when He desires a thing is just to say to it, "Be!" and it is. (Qur'an, 36: 82)
[God is] the Originator of the heavens and Earth. When He decides on something, He just says to it, "Be!" and it is. (Qur'an, 2: 117)
